Only with three pivot points (2 with relatively small bearings). My question is, who came first, commencal, cannondale or diamondback? Or does one company own them all and that is why they are not suing each other?

And isn't that an FSR like linkage on the rear axle? That'd make it a bit better of a peddling bike (if you believe all that specialized hype Wink than the covert (possibly).

And that is the newer linkage which makes adjusting it much easier than on the older ones. The pull rod has two stopper nuts - one on either end. Very easy.

When you get to the level of someone like Kinrade, do you think that you are still "better" turning or hipping to one side or is it pretty much immaterial? I can't even go left at all (I guess I am like Zoolander) so that photo is all the more impressive to me... but maybe he had it built special for a left handed turner-hipper??? whaddya think? Whose got mad skills out tehre and can tell me the answer?

It does look a little long, but I think a 66 in reasonable on a BRocket. The stem looks a little long to me, but that is probably just my wimpy lack of strength/control talking Smile
Nice ride man!

No thanks,
I am not much into DJ and actually have to down-size the bikes.
Best of luck,

The single pivot pulls down the rocker plate. THe rocker plate is attached to the shock so it goes thrug there. The advantage is a different leverage than you could achieve with the same angles otherwise, you get the shock in a better place for balance (super sweet balanced bike) and also with the rocker plate and the pull-rod you can adjust your head angle and bb height.

and if it was a dent it would be the most symmetrical dent in the history of dents. And it would be magic as it would have managed to not take off ANY paint in the process of denting the frame.

At the time I took the pic's I had two sets and you could choose white or black. Now it is just the brand new white ones available.
Thanks for the question - good eyes Smile

It's not that clean now. That is when it was totally new. I am still riding it, so no point in putting up "recent" pic's as they would have to change all the time. But, there are still no makrs except for on the top tube from the stupid car rack. The thing is beastly solid though so no chance of real damage occuring.
thx for the comment. peace

It weighs about 38 I think. I don't have a scale, but it is lighter than my 40pound bike for sure.

Oh, my bad. The way it was written seemed to suggest that. I see now that you meant you were referring to the Carbon thing. I agree nothing will compete with the Ibis or the dw-link in general for that matter (just got back from a ride on a 7point actually - would have been better had the niterider not decided to go 'kaput' - thank GOD for the cell phone for lighting up the trail!). Anyway, I've never ridden a GT I just got respect for the origins of Mtn Biking in which they were fundamental. The suspension design looks good and at 26 pounds it is hard to argue with anything really - except maybe the price tag :0 yikes.
peace Smile

It uses a COMPLETELY different suspension design than an Ibis mojo. THe only thing in common is the carbon fibre. At one time GT was teh biggest bike maker in the world nad I would guess they have a few tricks up their sleeve still. And, because everyone thinks they are crap right now they are hella cheap to get which is nice.

My guess is that the production model will have hydroforming on the downtube to bring the shock even lower and so to the bike`s centre of gravity. Should be sweet.

Warranty info provided is NOT correct. Warranty is lifetime limited warranty. Only covers manufacturer's defects, so if you break it by running into a tree it isn't covered, or if you ovalize the headtube that may not be covered because they could say you didn't do your maintanence and make sure the headset was in there properly. Also, warranties are NON-transferable so unless the seller works at a shop and can print you off an original receipt with your name on it then the warranty info is useless. I am not trying to kill your sale and it is a good price, but you gotta be up front with people.

The price for the whole wheelset is basically like buying hubs and getting free rims and spokes. 720$ for the rear hub retail and 300$ for the front, so it is like getting the front free and not paying tax at this price.

As opposed to the other offers he got which planned to pay with magic beans and smurf-berry juice? It's always cash people, when will people stop thinking that saying "cash" is going to suddenly make sellers drop their prices?
